Wear Care Repair
A Sustainable Fashion Colouring Book
by Estelle Pearce
Look after the clothes you love, and they'll look after you.
Wear Care Repair is a colouring book about sustainable fashion in 40 original illustrations: a capsule wardrobe, a clothes swap, the care label, darning, sashiko, the cobbler, cotton, wool and natural dyes, the loom, zero-waste cutting and where old clothes go. Opposite every picture is a short note on caring for clothes, repairing them, or where they come from.
A thoughtful gift for Christmas, a birthday or a thank-you — for anyone who likes to colour, mend, make or look after their clothes. Every picture comes with a note, so it's a gift that quietly teaches a little too.

What's inside
Forty pictures. Five parts.
The book holds 40 original single-sided illustrations in five parts: Wardrobe, Mend, Fibres, Makers and Change. Beside every picture sits a short note: what it is, how to care for or repair it, or where it comes from. And there's space to plan your colours and jot down notes of your own.
At the back is a workbook section, Your wardrobe: count your items, work out cost per wear, keep a mend list and mending log, and design your own upcycle on a page of its own.
It comes from the same place as everything else Fashion Fusion CIC does in Doncaster: the clothes swaps, the repair sessions, the skills workshops. Looking after what you own is a habit you can learn, and slow, quiet making is a lovely way to start. The pictures are there to be coloured; the notes are there so you finish a page knowing a little more about the clothes in your own wardrobe.
Run your own numbers with the Rewear Calculator, or read How to Mend Clothes.
Looking for something kind and unhurried to give this Christmas? Wear Care Repair is a gift that isn't more stuff to own: it's a quiet evening, a little know-how, and a reason to look after what's already in the wardrobe.
