1 · Privacy first
Closet Remix is built privacy-first. Your wardrobe, photos, style profile, name, email address and date of birth are stored only on your device — we never upload them to a server. That means we couldn't read, share or sell your personal data even if we wanted to.
2 · Delete everything in the app
To permanently delete everything, open Closet Remix and go to Profile, then choose Delete my account — or Delete all my data for a full reset. Both permanently erase your account details, wardrobe, photos and style profile from your device.
Uninstalling the app has the same effect. Because your data only ever lived on your phone, deletion is immediate and complete — there is no server copy to remove.
If you use your phone's own backup service (Google or Apple), a copy of your app data may exist in your personal cloud backup — that's managed by your device account, not by us.
3 · What does leave your device
A small amount of technical data is sent off-device to keep the app working:
- Anonymous crash reports (Sentry).
- Anonymous subscription status (RevenueCat).
- Your approximate location when you use weather-based outfit suggestions (Open-Meteo).
None of this includes your name or email address, and it cannot be linked back to you.
Subscriptions themselves are managed by the App Store or Google Play — cancelling or deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription, so manage that in your store account. For more on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
4 · Our mailing list
If you've joined our waitlist or taken the colour quiz on this website, we hold the email address you gave us in our email service (MailerLite). Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us and we'll remove you completely.
