1 · Privacy first
Closet Remix is built privacy-first. Your wardrobe, photos, style profile, name, email address and date of birth are stored only on your device — we never upload them to a server. That means we couldn't read, share or sell your personal data even if we wanted to.
2 · Delete everything in the app
To permanently delete everything, open Closet Remix and go to Profile, then choose Delete everything on this device. This permanently erases your details, wardrobe, photos and style profile from your device.
Uninstalling the app has the same effect. Because your data only ever lived on your device, deletion is immediate and complete — there is no server copy to remove.
If you use your device's own backup service (Google or Apple), a copy of your app data may exist in your personal cloud backup — that's managed by your device account, not by us.
3 · What does leave your device
A small amount of technical data is sent off-device to keep the app working:
- Crash and performance reports (Sentry, hosted in the EU) — an anonymous install identifier, your subscription tier, error details and device model. These may include an approximate location; see the Privacy Policy for exactly why and what we are doing about it. Deleted after 30 days.
- Anonymous subscription status (RevenueCat).
- Your IP address, disclosed to Google when the current release fetches a handful of extra mood-board font weights at launch. Our brand typefaces are bundled into the App; these remaining ones will be too, in a forthcoming update.
- Your approximate location when you use weather-based outfit suggestions (Open-Meteo) — rounded to about 1 km before sending, with no identifier attached. Optional: share nothing and nothing is sent.
None of this includes your name, your email address, your photos or your wardrobe — unless you contact us yourself, in which case we hold only what you send us.
Subscriptions themselves are managed by the App Store or Google Play — cancelling or deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription, so manage that in your store account. For more on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
4 · Our mailing list
If you've joined our waitlist or taken the colour quiz on this website, we hold the email address you gave us in our email service (MailerLite). Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us and we'll remove you completely.
